For three days the stars will be out in Dallas in an effort to fight childhood asthma. Dallas Cowboy Center and five-time Pro Bowl Selection Andre Gurode, will host the 2nd Annual Celebrity Weekend fundraiser for his charity, Center of Attention Foundation, Inc (COA) Friday, June 3rd-Sunday, June 5th, 2011. This year, Gurode is proud to announce The Asthma Management Program at Children’s Medical Center as the beneficiary of the event. 

Andre Gurode of the Dallas Cowboys has recently partnered with Promise House to demonstrate that his passion extends beyond the football field and into the North Texas community.

By all accounts the 1st Annual Andre Gurode Celebrity Weekend was a huge success thanks to the Center of Attention Foundation teaming up with Promise House. 

A giver by nature and a self-described "big kid at heart," Andre Gurode wanted to give back. But he wanted to do it differently. He decided to return to basics, finally asking himself, "What could be more basic for kids than kickball?"

Andre Gurode has started his own foundation (The Center of Attention Foundation) and his kickoff event will last an entire weekend from June 4-6.

Andre Gurode will host the first annual weekend-long fundraiser to benefit The Center of Attention June 4-6, 2010 in Dallas.
